LM’s Andrea Simonelli, Elena Ciuffi, Ryan Willbur, Sihat Rapi and Tommaso Berna ventured out with friends to the Songwa plantation in early February. In spite of plenty of rain, they could not help but admire the glorious plantation and colourful environs.

In addition to time spent on the plantation learning about the origin of coffee, they were able to stop in at the Muvwa primary school where Songwa partners (La Marzocco, Mahlkonig and Probat) invested in the construction of a new school building in 2012, carrying school supplies.

They concluded their adventure with wildlife literally stomping at their feet at the Ruaha National Park.
